The search tool on this website will enable the public to be better informed about the nexus between political parties and their donors in Western Australia. It includes data made available from the Australian and Western Australian Electoral Commissions and covers the period from 1992/93 to 2003/04.

This political donations database, like any database, has its own peculiar limitations and constraints. All users should be aware of the underlying problems contained within the dataset and the corresponding risk of deriving erroneous inference as a result. Please read Research Methods and Limitations before using the search engine.

The Donations search tool can be configured to search by year, by political party and by industry or any combination of these options. In addition, you can search for a specific company within the entire database. Full database searches by company name automatically default to the 'All Years', 'All Parties' options.
